1. What we collect

When you register your car at a workshop that uses GoBengkel, we collect your name, your mobile number, your car’s plate number, make, model and odometer reading, and the reason for your visit.

While your car is at the workshop we also keep the job record: the technician’s findings, the quote, the parts and labour used, whether you approved the quote, and when you paid.

For workshop staff we keep a name, work email address and sign-in details so that each person signs in to their own account.

2. Why we use it

We use your details to identify your car, to send you the quote and updates about your job (usually on WhatsApp), to let you approve the work and pay, and to keep a service history the workshop can refer to on your next visit.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

3. Who can see it

Your job record is visible to the staff of the workshop you visited. Other workshops on GoBengkel cannot see it.

We use service providers to host the service and deliver messages. They process your data only on our instructions.

We disclose personal data to authorities only where the law requires us to.

4. How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as the workshop needs them for its service history and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

5. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Withdrawing consent may mean the workshop cannot send you quotes through GoBengkel.
